The wind increased when Luiz Gustavo do Valle made the kick off in the second half. Ubatuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Henric was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Corsarios del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo do Valle came free, but Walmir Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmir Loureiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Gustavo do Valle went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Juvenal Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Walmir Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Sagarteguieta in the 86th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Corsarios del Sur got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Xabel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Paraibano in the 92nd minute of play forced Corsarios del Sur's goalkeeper Walmir Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Pedro Cardozo got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-0. 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ubatuba fully deserved thier win.
