The supporters of U21 Switzerland booed when U21 Northern Ireland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achraf Hakimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, U21 Northern Ireland's Derek Darko got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 94th match minute, U21 Switzerland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Dubler to maneuver through the defense. Pat Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jokim Frank in the 96th minute of play. The U21 Northern Ireland fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. U21 Switzerland were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
