Emanuel Corderun's late challenge caught a Trifillia.FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Corderun helped the player get up and apologised. Emanuel Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Grigoris Tzorvas scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Janpier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Estrella de Boedo's Leon Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoris Tzorvas in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Estrella de Boedo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. German Favila hit a great ball. Emanuel Corderun was shown his second yellow card after 13 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Emanuel Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Grigoris Tzorvas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Janpier was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Leon Janpier came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Trifillia.FC's Grigoris Tzorvas. But to his dismay, Grigoris Tzorvas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Trifillia.FC's Grigoris Tzorvas in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estrella de Boedo's goalie prevented a goal. When German Favila came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Estrella de Boedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Favila couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Nazario during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Estrella de Boedo's Gaston Nazario got a free kick in the 30th minute. Aggelos Balafas, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 32nd minute Markos Pittarakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Estrella de Boedo defense, Grigoris Tzorvas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Janpier. The Estrella de Boedo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Janpier should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute of the game, Bartolo Jerico landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Grigoris Tzorvas charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grigoris Tzorvas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Estrella de Boedo's Amado Rios was substituted for Bartolo Jerico. Grigoris Tzorvas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Janpier having to interfere. The Estrella de Boedo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trifillia.FC were winning 0-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Favila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Estrella de Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Favila to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Traboukos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Estrella de Boedo's Santo Fraco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Trifillia.FC's Grigoris Tzorvas in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estrella de Boedo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th match minute, Estrella de Boedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Nazario to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigoris Tzorvas in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Janpier saved Estrella de Boedo from getting behind. After 59 played minutes Estrella de Boedo got a freekick which was hit by Amado Rios. Vaggelis Christou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Janpier having to make a save. Grigoris Tzorvas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leon Janpier firmly grabbed it by the left post. Leon Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Katsoulakis in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella de Boedo's zone, Vaggelis Christou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Janpier came out of the goal and Vaggelis Christou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estrella de Boedo's Leon Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigoris Tzorvas in the 71st minute of play. With 76 minutes on the clock, Amado Rios commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 76 minutes into the game, one of Estrella de Boedo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, Trifillia.FC's Aggelos Balafas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leon Janpier. Vaggelis Traboukos made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Estrella de Boedo's Santo Fraco. In the 83rd minute, Santo Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aggelos Balafas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Estrella de Boedo's Leon Janpier got control of the ball when Markos Pittarakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leon Janpier made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Markos Pittarakis sent off a good shot on target. Leon Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markos Pittarakis in the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Kostas Katsoulakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trifillia.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kostas Katsoulakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Trifillia.FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Estrella de Boedo throughout the match.
