Emánuel Bányai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Verner Giliusson went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The referee ignored Falconer FC's protests and gave Ingmar Berglund a yellow card for diving instead. Emánuel Bányai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emánuel Bányai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute Bernard McAaron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Falkrantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Svante Hult had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Silke in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Carrigane's Dugan Dunne got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Ingmar Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falconer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingmar Berglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emánuel Bányai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Verner Giliusson in the 93rd minute.
