Călin Cojan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Andreas Gulstorff made a huge save. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when FC PIETROSUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Ozon didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Nordsjælland getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Charley Hjortebjerg hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Marius Turcu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andreas Gulstorff came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC PIETROSUL -MM- reached it. 12 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Gulstorff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manole Ozon. Andreas Gulstorff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vali Stratulat in the 13th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Sindre Walle got a free kick in the 14th minute. The long shot by Marius Turcu in the 15th minute really tested Andreas Gulstorff's skills. Marius Turcu's shot from long distance in the 38th minute was not bad at all, but FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Gulstorff knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Călin Izvoranu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitar Berbatov in the 41st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Călin Cojan got free with Andreas Gulstorff in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Mads Hansen made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Cristi Ciprian notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Gulstorff. Andreas Gulstorff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC PIETROSUL -MM- made a substitution. Vasile Hâncu replaced Călin Cojan. In the 87th minute Vasile Hâncu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Gulstorff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Gulstorff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Stratulat in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Vasile Hâncu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vasile Hâncu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Gulstorff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the FC Nordsjælland defense, Cristi Ciprian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Gulstorff. The FC Nordsjælland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Gulstorff should have stopped the shot. FC Nordsjælland's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
