Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Vancouver Reds from getting a goal against them. 石森奕 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Valentine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wágner Recife came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Vancouver Reds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner Recife couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Vancouver Reds's Santana Armada got control of the ball when 许烽斌 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wágner Recife made a kick off. If Saverio Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 石森奕 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Niva in the 58th minute of play. Vancouver Reds's Jakub Kiwior was substituted for Louie Mulford. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dabi 吕布 in the 65th minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Santana Armada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute 朱锋宁 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santana Armada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santana Armada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dabi 吕布, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
