Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amado Mero kicked off to start the match. When Álvaro Morata came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Esparta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Morata couldn't finish the play. Nunez Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nurettin Vefalı, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Zacarias Erasto's late challenge caught a Esparta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Erasto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Stronghold S.A's Zacarias Erasto got a free kick in the 10th minute. Basilio Soter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Morata, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Nunez Iraitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amado Mero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Zacarias Erasto made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Nurettin Vefalı immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Stronghold S.A's Zacarias Erasto got a free kick in the 19th minute. Teobaldo Berart lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Esparta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Esparta FC:s Nunez Iraitz showed great skill when he stopped Amado Mero:s penalty. After 44 played minutes Esparta FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Blai. After some careless play in the Esparta FC defense, Remigio Urdaspal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nunez Iraitz. The Esparta FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nunez Iraitz should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Misael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leandro Jesco kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Esparta FC's Antonio Misael in action when he in the 54th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Nunez Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Mero in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Esparta FC booed when Stronghold S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Erasto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esparta FC's Nunez Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Mero in the 61st minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, Stronghold S.A's Amado Mero made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nunez Iraitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Remigio Urdaspal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nunez Iraitz was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Nunez Iraitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Nunez Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Urdaspal in the 87th minute of play. Nunez Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Urdaspal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Mero in the 89th minute of play forced Esparta FC's goalkeeper Nunez Iraitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stronghold S.A's Leandro Jesco got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Amado Mero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stronghold S.A fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stronghold S.A fully deserved thier win.
