Spectators: 7696 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Codruț Ferenț started the match with the kick off. Leontin Boroș kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Petre Pășcuțoiu scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dragoş Braniște, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dragoş Braniște showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Gugulanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Slicaru came free, but Dragoş Braniște reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragoş Braniște made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Ferenț in the 16th minute of play. Iustin Udup hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Codruț Ferenț's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dragoş Braniște was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Valeriu Aanuţei who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Gelu Ţintea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niculae Marica during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Niculae Marica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gelu Ţintea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Iovanovici in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Codruț Ferenț in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dragoş Braniște saved LIVIUS UNITED MLS from getting behind. Dumitru Tănăsie was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Gelu Ţintea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Obregia in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Codruț Ferenț made a precise shot to the right of Dragoş Braniște. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Obregia was the one to do the kick off. Dragoş Braniște took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Ferenț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes LIVIUS UNITED MLS got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Udup. In the 62nd minute Codruț Ferenț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Braniște saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petre Pășcuțoiu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Adrian Iovanovici got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Grigore Posteucă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in LIVIUS UNITED MLS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Dragoş Braniște, was totally fooled by GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Dumitru Tănăsie, who 73 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Boroș in the 75th minute of play forced GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's goalkeeper Gelu Ţintea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codruț Ferenț in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dragoş Braniște prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Niculae Marica got a free kick in the 78th minute. Gelu Ţintea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrei Ifrim went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, Valeriu Aanuţei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gelu Ţintea. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valeriu Aanuţei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 92 minutes into the match, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Ferenț came free, but Dragoş Braniște reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Obregia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Alecu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Dumitru Tănăsie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dumitru Tănăsie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
