When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Deilmison Bergkamp sped through Flames FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denver Gagnon. Adilson Tepedino made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 17thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Denver Gagnon would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deilmison Bergkamp in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denver Gagnon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 21st minute Tomas Donovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deilmison Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deilmison Bergkamp had several of the Flames FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Denver Gagnon as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Ambrose Keen fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave Ambrose Keen a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ambrose Keen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison Bergkamp in the 47th minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Denver Gagnon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
