When Ergincan Türköz fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HORIZZONT's protests and gave Ergincan Türköz a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes HORIZZONT got a freekick which was hit by Ergincan Türköz. With an all-out effort, Buritama Sports's Leopoldo Varela threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Munhoz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edmundo de Toledo came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by HORIZZONT's Ergincan Türköz. But to his dismay, Ergincan Türköz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When HORIZZONT's Erkut Yatuk in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Buritama Sports's goalie prevented a goal. HORIZZONT's Leopoldo Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save HORIZZONT from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Victor Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes HORIZZONT got a freekick which was hit by Erkut Yatuk. Leopoldo Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Ergincan Türköz came free, but Edmundo de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ergincan Türköz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Dráusio Porto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leopoldo Varela firmly grabbed it by the left post. Edmundo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ergincan Türköz in the 29th minute of the match. Leopoldo Varela made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Alessandro Félix sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the game, Ahmet Gökalp Cengel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HORIZZONT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buritama Sports the free kick. Ahmet Gökalp Cengel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Munhoz came free, but Leopoldo Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Munhoz in the 42nd minute of play. When Özalp Ersoy fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HORIZZONT's protests and gave Özalp Ersoy a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when HORIZZONT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özalp Ersoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Ronaldão Valadares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopoldo Varela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Buritama Sports's Alessandro Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergincan Türköz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Félix came free, but Leopoldo Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ergincan Türköz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Edmundo de Toledo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kasım Sahadettin hit a great ball. Aytekin Sayfi lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Leopoldo Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes, Erkut Yatuk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HORIZZONT and the Buritama Sports players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to HORIZZONT getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Erkut Yatuk hit a great ball. HORIZZONT's Leopoldo Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Munhoz in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Dráusio Porto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Leopoldo Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Velloso in the 92nd minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Leopoldo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ergincan Türköz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo de Toledo having to interfere. Alessandro Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Munhoz in the 97th minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Leopoldo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Munhoz went, in the 99th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Buritama Sports walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
