AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave White Star Troopers the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Thoyib Lunggana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Proca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Gery Pattimura made a huge save. Fryderyk Huk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rexy Gozali in the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, White Star Troopers's goal looked a bit too open when Egi Ryacudu came free, but Fryderyk Huk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gery Pattimura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Proca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fryderyk Huk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rexy Gozali in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rexy Gozali in the 11th minute of play forced White Star Troopers's goalkeeper Fryderyk Huk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Wawrukiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. White Star Troopers's Fryderyk Huk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pasha Wijaya in the 15th minute of play. Klaas Jan van der Meer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gery Pattimura having to interfere. A collision led to AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Duloh Kaimu hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Chandra Effendy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fryderyk Huk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute Rexy Gozali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Huk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The White Star Troopers fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when White Star Troopers's Klaas Jan van der Meer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fryderyk Huk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chandra Effendy in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rexy Gozali in the 47th minute of play forced White Star Troopers's goalkeeper Fryderyk Huk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

White Star Troopers made a substitution. Hieronim Cieslak replaced Daniel Mentis. After 52 played minutes White Star Troopers got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Jan van der Meer. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind White Star Troopers's goalkeeper Fryderyk Huk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Chandra Effendy managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gery Pattimura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Karp, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Gery Pattimura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Karp in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rexy Gozali to maneuver through the defense. White Star Troopers's Fryderyk Huk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chandra Effendy in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Rexy Gozali got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rexy Gozali got free with Fryderyk Huk in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rexy Gozali could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Fryderyk Huk made a huge save. The supporters of White Star Troopers booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pasha Wijaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gery Pattimura came out of the goal and Norbert Karp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Klaas Jan van der Meer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norbert Karp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Gery Pattimura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fryderyk Huk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rexy Gozali in the 90th minute of play. White Star Troopers's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chandra Effendy 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. In the 96th minute, Don Simone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
