Spectators: 7979 (Terracing: 5985, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sergiu Coșeriu started the match with the kick off. FC Rebel's Maarek Allikvee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 6th minute of play. Maarek Allikvee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiu Coșeriu's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's Olimpiu Dichiseanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maarek Allikvee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivari Mäidu in the 12th minute of play. Alvar Vilep charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvar Vilep the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Academia Rio booed when FC Rebel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Vilep didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Sergiu Coșeriu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Rio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea got control of the ball when Enar Stüf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maarek Allikvee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Sergiu Coșeriu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarek Allikvee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radu Păvăloae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maarek Allikvee having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 31st minute of play forced FC Rebel's goalkeeper Maarek Allikvee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maarek Allikvee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiu Coșeriu's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes FC Rebel's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Johny Oltean who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Academia Rio's corner Johny Oltean fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maarek Allikvee quite easily take care of the ball. Gigel Tilea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ailar Pärt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 40th minute of play forced FC Rebel's goalkeeper Maarek Allikvee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Rebel's Ailar Pärt got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gigel Tilea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivari Mäidu in the 43rd minute of the match. Gigel Tilea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enar Stüf, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes FC Rebel got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Pulver. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enar Stüf was the one to do the kick off. Jean Oltean kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gigel Tilea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enar Stüf in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Sergiu Coșeriu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rebel's Maarek Allikvee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alex Nicolae hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Ailar Pärt made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 62nd minute Radu Păvăloae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maarek Allikvee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maarek Allikvee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 70th minute of play. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enar Stüf in the 73rd minute of play. Maarek Allikvee made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Sergiu Coșeriu sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Academia Rio's Maarek Allikvee threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Radu Păvăloae, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Rebel's goalkeeper Maarek Allikvee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Magnus Pulver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Ivari Mäidu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Rio's zone, Magnus Pulver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Tilea came out of the goal and Magnus Pulver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
