Spectators: 7522 (Terracing: 5642, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) With an all-out effort, FC Saubrigues's Percival Souto threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alphonse Keita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Percival Souto was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Alphonse Keita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alphonse Keita really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Poetass FC's zone, Raphaël Giacometti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percival Souto came out of the goal and Raphaël Giacometti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raphaël Giacometti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Souto having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of FC Saubrigues:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Poetass FC:s goal. Raphaël Giacometti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Souto having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Carvalho. If Raphaël Giacometti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandrinho Carvalho hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphaël Giacometti got free with Percival Souto in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolas Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Adriano Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphaël Giacometti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Percival Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Adriano Botelho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poetass FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Botelho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Dubernard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Saubrigues's Paulo Dubernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Velasco in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ibrahim Bene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frederico Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raphaël Giacometti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Valladares came free, but Paulo Dubernard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandrinho Carvalho got free with Paulo Dubernard in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Dubernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Frederico Velasco struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Paulo Dubernard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poetass FC. Percival Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alphonse Keita in the 86th minute of the match. When Adriano Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Poetass FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Botelho couldn't finish the play. In the 95th match minute, Poetass FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Percival Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphaël Giacometti, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Paulo Dubernard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Botelho. The FC Saubrigues fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Poetass FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
