After 9 minutes, Enzo Berriotxoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rossobianco and the Locura Académica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rossobianco's Enzo Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Gerardo Rufo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fidel Camerino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Rossobianco's Zeledon Pacorro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Rufo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Desiderio Gregory hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Locura Académica got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Baldovino. In the 37th minute Nemesio Frasquito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Locura Académica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Frasquito to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th match minute, Rossobianco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Camerino to maneuver through the defense. After 43 played minutes Rossobianco got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Gaitan. In the 47th minute, Rossobianco's Fidel Camerino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerardo Rufo. Gerardo Rufo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemesio Frasquito to make the kick off. Fidel Camerino struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gerardo Rufo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rossobianco. If Fidel Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nemesio Frasquito hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Fidel Camerino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rossobianco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Camerino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Fidel Camerino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Rufo was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Gerardo Rufo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Camerino went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Guido Dalmu kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gerardo Rufo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Camerino in the 71st minute of the match. Guaberto Gasteiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Frasquito in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fidel Camerino in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Rufo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Rossobianco getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fidel Innocenzio hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Fidel Camerino made a precise shot to the right of Gerardo Rufo. Locura Académica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The audience was convinced that Fidel Camerino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Rufo was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The supporters of Rossobianco booed when Locura Académica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 98 played minutes, Rossobianco's Ovidio Aimar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerardo Rufo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rossobianco reached it. Rossobianco walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
