But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mátyás Gácsi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 7 minutes, János Végvári managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TUSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but János Végvári was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 played minutes TUSE got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Kondor. Ronaldinho Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bálint Jakab having to interfere. Endre Kozma kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Mátyás Gácsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Edmundo Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. János Végvári received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the game, TUSE's János Végvári nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmundo Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mátyás Gácsi made the kick off in the second half. When Tostão Lopes fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Brasília's protests and gave Tostão Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Tostão Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Palmeira made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by TUSE's Bálint Vékony. With a little luck, Real Brasília's Edmundo Branco got control of the ball when János Végvári tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mátyás Gácsi got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 81st match minute, TUSE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mátyás Gácsi to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, TUSE's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Rezende came free, but Bálint Jakab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bálint Jakab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Rezende in the 86th minute of play. Endre Kozma made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tamás Soós however managed to control. 90 minutes into the match, Real Brasília's goalkeeper Edmundo Branco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by János Végvári. János Végvári recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manoel de Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manoel de Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Real Brasília got a freekick which was hit by Manoel de Barros.
