Elvir Langer was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Barnard Meyers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Barnard Meyers really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Srdan Nigg came free, but Artie Todman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kevin Stoffel sped through Frenchville Sports Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artie Todman. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Earle Lingwoodock during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Earle Lingwoodock kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Elvir Langer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Mcmanamny in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ivo Förster notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Frenchville Sports Club's Artie Todman. Artie Todman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Frenchville Sports Club booed when Motala AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Wieser didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoni Wieser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artie Todman having to interfere. Elvir Langer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darley Worsley, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Artie Todman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Hörmann went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Barnard Meyers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Elvir Langer made a huge save. If Isaac Mcmanamny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Frenchville Sports Club booed when Motala AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nigg Caduff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevin Stoffel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigg Caduff to maneuver through the defense. Frenchville Sports Club's Artie Todman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Frenchville Sports Club from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Frenchville Sports Club's Isaac Mcmanamny got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 61st match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Curtis Mckinnes to maneuver through the defense. Motala AIF's Mats Loose was substituted for Edy Erne. After 62 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Mckinnes. Elvir Langer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnard Meyers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Frenchville Sports Club's Artie Todman got control of the ball when Mats Loose tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Nigg Caduff from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Artie Todman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kris Franklin kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Elvir Langer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnard Meyers, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Mcmanamny in the 81st minute of play forced Motala AIF's goalkeeper Elvir Langer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frenchville Sports Club's Artie Todman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Wieser in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Wieser came free, but Artie Todman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artie Todman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Wieser in the 89th minute of play. Barnard Meyers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvir Langer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match, Gaston Guerreiro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Artie Todman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Motala AIF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
