Léo Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Buritama Sports's Álvaro Sá got a free kick in the 9th minute. Lan Šorli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiaguinho Tavares's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitar Čebulj in the 14th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Gilberto Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Duško Turnšek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gilberto Paraense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 19 minutes into the game, Duško Turnšek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gilberto Paraense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Buritama Sports's Gilberto Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duško Turnšek in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlato Gorišek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Duško Turnšek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Duško Turnšek came free, but Gilberto Paraense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Istok Šabotić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Paraense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Buritama Sports's Lenílson Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiaguinho Tavares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Lan Šorli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 44th match minute, Buritama Sports was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Tavares to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Demeter Denac struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Gilberto Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HIT Gorica. After 58 played minutes HIT Gorica got a freekick which was hit by Istok Šabotić. In the 59th minute, Zlato Gorišek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HIT Gorica's Lan Šorli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson Velloso in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Jernej Petrovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62ndth minute of the game Tiaguinho Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HIT Gorica's Lan Šorli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duško Turnšek in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Paraense prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zlato Gorišek kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. If Lenílson Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sefedin Lož hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Zlato Gorišek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HIT Gorica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zlato Gorišek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Lenílson Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lan Šorli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Istok Šabotić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Duško Turnšek put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gilberto Paraense. Diguinho Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diguinho Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of HIT Gorica booed when Buritama Sports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diguinho Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lenílson Velloso hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Duško Turnšek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HIT Gorica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when HIT Gorica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jernej Petrovič didn't get a good kick on the ball.
