With an all-out effort, AS Pikachuzim's Edson Bertassi threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Bittencourt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rodolfo Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. Edson Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Carrapichel - FDFDF's Acácio Neto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luiz Matorin. That made the score 2-1 after 55 minutes of play.
