In the 25th minute Izydor Trela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Izydor Trela managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 30th minute, Jarvis McLaughlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Paz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmond Verdun having to make a save. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarvis McLaughlin in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Tango en Miami FC's goalkeeper Otto Hegeman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emílio Terra. Izydor Trela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Joe Tate made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Jarvis McLaughlin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarvis McLaughlin. In the 57th match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Savion to maneuver through the defense. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarvis McLaughlin in the 63rd minute of the match. Bernabe Bazo's late challenge caught a Errecaborda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernabe Bazo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Bernabe Bazo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otto Hegeman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Tate's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Tango en Miami FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Tate came free, but Otto Hegeman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Hegeman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ado in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Izydor Trela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Izydor Trela got free with Edmond Verdun in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th minute Emílio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Hegeman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otto Hegeman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the game, Lamar MacDonald was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tango en Miami FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Errecaborda AFC the free kick. After 83 played minutes Tango en Miami FC got a freekick which was hit by Lamar MacDonald.
