He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 6th match minute, Tacheros de Buenos Aires was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Scigan to maneuver through the defense. Przemysl's Napoleon Konopka got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timo Werner in the 9th minute of play. The corner led Przemysl's Timo Werner to fire away a dangerous shot which Gregorio Lehior despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gregorio Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Napoleon Konopka in the 12th minute of play. Artur Scigan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato De Laurentiis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tacheros de Buenos Aires's zone, Mariusz Rydzyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregorio Lehior came out of the goal and Mariusz Rydzyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes, Jan-Ove Tunander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tacheros de Buenos Aires and the Przemysl players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Tacheros de Buenos Aires got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ove Tunander. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's Gregorio Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Rydzyk in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Tacheros de Buenos Aires getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Claes Anundsson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Mariusz Rydzyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Przemysl's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariusz Rydzyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Lehior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artur Scigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Haydar Tolgunay in the 22nd minute of the match. If Mariusz Rydzyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Lehior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Rydzyk in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Przemysl got a corner. Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timo Werner ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Isaac Bittor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Scigan made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Fortunato De Laurentiis sent off a good shot on target. Artur Scigan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Bittor in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute Tacheros de Buenos Aires were awarded a corner. Ali Haydar Tolgunay went to the cornerflag to take it. Boguslaw Ciszewski's late challenge caught a Tacheros de Buenos Aires's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boguslaw Ciszewski helped the player get up and apologised. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaac Bittor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Przemysl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wojciech Jarosz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Rydzyk in the 58th minute of play forced Tacheros de Buenos Aires's goalkeeper Gregorio Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Fortunato De Laurentiis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Haydar Tolgunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Przemysl made a substitution. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariusz Rydzyk got free with Gregorio Lehior in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gregorio Lehior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Werner in the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Przemysl's zone, Isaac Bittor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Scigan came out of the goal and Isaac Bittor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timo Werner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gregorio Lehior having to make a save. In the 82nd minute of the match, Cezary Plaski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gregorio Lehior saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Przemysl's Artur Scigan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Bittor in the 83rd minute of play.
