Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petre Iftode in the 14th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Markus Svensson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diki Doro. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Markus Svensson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 24 minutes into the game, Emil Wielopolski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Lions FC the free kick. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Wielopolski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diki Doro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Dahlkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 28th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Markus Svensson to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhao Sen Yang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Golden Lions FC's Cosme Larpe was substituted for Marcelo Steven. Diki Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Svensson in the 74th minute of play. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 75th minute of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. In the 94th minute, Golden Lions FC's Kálmán Balogh seemed to kick out at an opponent. Anders Lundqvist had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Zhao Sen Yang's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
