Geovanildo Luis started the match with the kick off. If Geovanildo Luis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Digital Monsterz FC's Isak Jacobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 3rd minute of play. A hard shot 6 in the game by Anıl Özkut from a close distance when the talented Haji Sarap managed to make a qualified save. Joinville City - FSCMZ's players were relieved. After taking down the ball on Digital Monsterz FC's corner Birger Spetz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Haji Sarap quite easily take care of the ball. Geovanildo Luis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 10th minute Geovanildo Luis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Jacobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Digital Monsterz FC defense, Geovanildo Luis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isak Jacobsson. The Digital Monsterz FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isak Jacobsson should have stopped the shot. Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anıl Özkut in the 16th minute. When Geovanildo Luis came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Joinville City - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovanildo Luis couldn't finish the play. Haji Sarap made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Anıl Özkut sent off a good shot on target. Isak Jacobsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanildo Luis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joinville City - FSCMZ's Geovanildo Luis in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Digital Monsterz FC's goalie prevented a goal. Isak Jacobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 36th minute of the match. Leandro Heidemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Tomé Neto put in a rough tackle. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Cássio de Andrade was substituted for João Francisco Arce. The Digital Monsterz FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Joinville City - FSCMZ were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anıl Özkut was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Digital Monsterz FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Gabino. In the 58th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Reis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville City - FSCMZ's zone, Christer Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haji Sarap came out of the goal and Christer Nyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Heidemann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haji Sarap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Heidemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldinho Gaucho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Isak Jacobsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joinville City - FSCMZ made a substitution. Adhemar Santos replaced Geovanildo Luis. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Horácio Abraão was substituted for Ronaldinho Gaucho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Heidemann in the 83rd minute of play forced Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anıl Özkut took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Digital Monsterz FC's Isak Jacobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Abraão in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Joinville City - FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Digital Monsterz FC.
