In the 15th minute of the match, Emil Wielopolski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Haji Sarap saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 16th minute, Geovanildo Luis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Haji Sarap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Grau. After some careless play in the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- defense, Geovanildo Luis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diki Doro. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diki Doro should have stopped the shot. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap got control of the ball when Primitivo Grau tried to sneak it across the goal line. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Joinville City - FSCMZ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Diki Doro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 65th minute of the match. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Cássio de Andrade was substituted for João Francisco Arce. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. Haji Sarap was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diki Doro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Abraão in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adhemar Santos. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- had won after a very even match.
