Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Pirani started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Dede Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naldo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Maria in the 8th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game João Pirani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curiphila Eagles's Naldo Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Augusto Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Naldo Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pirani in the 13th minute of the match. Naldo Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Pirani in the 14th minute. When Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curiphila Eagles's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20th minute, Nico Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Curiphila Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Mattos. Curiphila Eagles's Naldo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pirani in the 26th minute of play. Naldo Costa was a little too slow when João Pirani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. Vascogoianiense FC's Angelo Maria got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naldo Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Pirani went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. With his leg Naldo Costa managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flavinho Paranaense made a kick off. Naldo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Maria came free, but Naldo Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute, Angelo Maria made a precise shot to the right of Naldo Costa. Curiphila Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 61 minutes of play, Vascogoianiense FC's João Pirani made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naldo Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when João Pirani came free, but Naldo Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Curiphila Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Pereira to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Zé Carlos Soeiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Curiphila Eagles's Naldo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pirani in the 77th minute of play. Naldo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matheus Paraíba went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. If João Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Naldo Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matheus Paraíba's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 93rd minute, João Pirani made a precise shot to the right of Naldo Costa. Curiphila Eagles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. In the 96th minute João Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Vascogoianiense FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
