Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) C. A. Atlanta's Teodoro Primo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 6th minute Marian Zembrzuski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Pankracy Malicki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Zembrzuski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Zembrzuski in the 13th minute of play. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pankracy Malicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki. But to his dismay, Pankracy Malicki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 27th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Obuchowicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Everardo Rio fired a really elegant long shot, but Mikolaj Jerzyk threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After a rather tough play, Newcastle United's Olgierd Wojtowicz got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Everardo Rio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mikolaj Jerzyk skillfully saved the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Teodoro Primo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Primo in the 34th minute of the match. After 35 minutes Newcastle United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everardo Rio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to C. A. Atlanta's Orlando Beltza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Primo during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Edgar Lampa hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes, C. A. Atlanta's Everardo Rio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Atlanta reached it. After the first half Newcastle United were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Newcastle United booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Christobal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Malicki in the 55th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Malicki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Tony Guimarães made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Marian Zembrzuski could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Tony Guimarães however easily saved by the left post. Newcastle United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donato Christobal in the 66th minute. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pankracy Malicki in the 67th minute of the match. Everardo Rio struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Atlanta. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Federico Gil hit a great ball. The long shot by Donato Christobal in the 77th minute really tested Tony Guimarães's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Adam Pacholewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Christobal was slow to take the kick. During this time Newcastle United's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of C. A. Atlanta's goalie and right to Kajetan Kochniarczyk. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C. A. Atlanta's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Pankracy Malicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Guimarães having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Teodoro Primo got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Pankracy Malicki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newcastle United's supporters rose to their feet, but Pankracy Malicki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Zembrzuski came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Malicki came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes C. A. Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Donato Christobal who took care of the corner kick. Newcastle United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
