Cactos's Luisinho Maciel managed to work through Playa Malvín's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luisinho Maciel dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Bran Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Åkerström in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Luisinho Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Åkerström might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bran Allison. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cactos's Bran Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Åkerström in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th play minute Fred Åkerström came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bran Allison. 1-0. In the 46th minute, Gamus Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Nando Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luisinho Maciel made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Maciel in the 51st minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Cactos's Luisinho Maciel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Roberto Teixeira. Zé Roberto Teixeira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Fred Åkerström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bran Allison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Cactos's Matias Gaitan was substituted for Dorival de Carvalho. Playa Malvín were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Cactos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandu Mândrilă took the corner. Playa Malvín's Sandu Mândrilă was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bran Allison in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 60 minutes into the match, Cactos's Cengizhan Baycan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zé Roberto Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Cengizhan Baycan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cengizhan Baycan, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cengizhan Baycan in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Matias Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cactos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Gaitan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bran Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niva Espellosa in the 91st minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bran Allison was left in no man's land by his defense there! Playa Malvín's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
