With a left leg Jarbas Pimenta saved Xurupita FC from getting behind. Xurupita FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Donato Paraibano scored to the left of an out of position Jarbas Pimenta, making the score, 2-0. C.'s Júlio Baiano. Júlio Baiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the game, Barões F. C.'s Donato Paraibano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarbas Pimenta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 66th minute, Cris Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Jarbas Pimenta. Xurupita FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When Joseph Kellbom came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Xurupita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Kellbom couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Donato Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Barões F. C.'s goalkeeper Júlio Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karni Yair. Jarbas Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cris Batistuta in the 75th minute of play. If Cris Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Xurupita FC's Karni Yair slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Júlio Baiano. That made the score 4-2 after 85 minutes of play. Jarbas Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cris Batistuta, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Barões F. C.'s Júlio Baiano got control of the ball when Karni Yair tried to sneak it across the goal line. Barões F. C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
