After a rather tough play, Dinamo Colorado's Xavi Hernandez got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Turan Özerol came free, but Fabrício Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdo Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Araújo having to interfere. Cristian Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Hüseyin Turan Özerol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Fabrício Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14thth minute of the game Hüseyin Turan Özerol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabrício Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Mota in the 16th minute of play. Fred Ferreira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Fabrício Negri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 26th minute of the match Corumbaense F.C. got a corner. Dinamo Colorado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boguslaw Lampe ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Corumbaense F.C.'s corner Boguslaw Lampe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabrício Negri quite easily take care of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Veloso came free, but Caio Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caio Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 29 minutes, Hüseyin Turan Özerol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corumbaense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hüseyin Turan Özerol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Corumbaense F.C.'s Fabrício Negri threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hüseyin Turan Özerol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 34thth minute of the game Fred Ferreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caio Araújo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oséias Veloso went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Oséias Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xavi Hernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fabrício Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruy Mota in the 51st minute of the match. Valdo Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caio Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdo Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. Oséias Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Caio Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinamo Colorado's Tiago Gabriel Carvalho was substituted for Dorian Gerber. Caio Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oséias Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Fabrício Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Ferreira in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Ferreira in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrício Negri saved Dinamo Colorado from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Fred Ferreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrício Negri. Dinamo Colorado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Ferreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dinamo Colorado's Ramiro Harriet was substituted for Egídio Gonçalves. Fabrício Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüseyin Turan Özerol in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Sandrinho Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corumbaense F.C. and the Dinamo Colorado players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dinamo Colorado booed when Corumbaense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes Corumbaense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Maranhense. In the 79th minute of the match, Oséias Veloso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Caio Araújo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute Dinamo Colorado were awarded a corner. Xavi Hernandez went to the cornerflag to take it. If Xavi Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oséias Veloso got free with Caio Araújo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boguslaw Lampe hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Xavi Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Araújo having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
