Long Yuan De showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaver Guevara in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Zarando Eguizabal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan-Carlos Bravo. Galería del Gol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zarando Eguizabal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Juan-Carlos Bravo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Zarando Eguizabal sent off a good shot on target. Galería del Gol's Juan-Carlos Bravo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xaven Galiana in the 27th minute of play. Galería del Gol's attentive Arévalo Rayon managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Salz made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. Juan-Carlos Bravo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paredes Campderros's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Garrido Murrillo scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Long Yuan De, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Astillero del Guayas's Long Yuan De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garrido Murrillo in the 45th minute of play. Juan-Carlos Bravo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paredes Campderros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xaver Guevara made a kick off.
