In the 20th minute Jacinto Olentzaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deng Liang Yao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atletico Fenix's Carolo Remir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Deutsch in the 22nd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Jacinto Olentzaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Deng Liang Yao. Defensores de Fasano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Olentzaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Deng Liang Yao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Olentzaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Ruben Teodor's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Fenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Teodor helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Defensores de Fasano got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Teodor. Paolo Gabino charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paolo Gabino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Atletico Fenix booed when Defensores de Fasano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Gabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carolo Remir came out of the goal and Edelmiro Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 92nd minute, but Carolo Remir got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Club Atletico Fenix hanging dry this time. Club Atletico Fenix's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
