Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stavros Paraschos got free with Thomas Kortzidis in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. It was a well-played corner which Kostas Koutsis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Stathis Panagakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Kortzidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Peristasi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christos Trabakoulos to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stathis Panagakis got free with Thomas Kortzidis in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomas Kortzidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stathis Panagakis in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Stathis Panagakis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thomas Kortzidis, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Stathis Panagakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Kortzidis. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Stavros Paraschos made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Kortzidis. Peristasi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Christos Trabakoulos made in the 36th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Demis Skaltsas however managed to control. The audience was convinced that Stathis Panagakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Kortzidis was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Stathis Panagakis put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Thomas Kortzidis. Thomas Kortzidis was a little too slow when Stavros Paraschos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 5-0. 46 minutes into the match, Peristasi FC's goalkeeper Thomas Kortzidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stavros Paraschos. Gozilla made a substitution. Michalis Makridakis replaced Marín Vache.

Thomas Kortzidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Kortzidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. When Stavros Paraschos came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Gozilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stavros Paraschos couldn't finish the play. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Kortzidis. Thomas Kortzidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. If Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Kortzidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stavros Paraschos in the 67th minute of the match. Thomas Kortzidis came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Gozilla's Stavros Paraschos. But to his dismay, Stavros Paraschos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Peristasi FC's Thomas Kortzidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stavros Paraschos in the 70th minute of play. Peristasi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stavros Paraschos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Sakis Kladogennis kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Kortzidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Thomas Kortzidis came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Gozilla's Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos. But to his dismay, Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 91st minute, Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Kortzidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Stavros Paraschos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gozilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Stavros Paraschos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Kortzidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Thomas Kortzidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gozilla. After 100 minutes, Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos made it 12-0 with a short kick to the right side. Peristasi FC's Thomas Kortzidis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Peristasi FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
