After a defensive mix-up in Legacy Youth Academy's zone, Alonzo Ponce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Fe came out of the goal and Alonzo Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Rivadavia booed when Legacy Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th play minute Alonzo Ponce came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ovidio Fe. 1-0. Ovidio Fe came out of the goal and Alonzo Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Ponce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute, Ramiro Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rivadavia's Ramiro Mendiko managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nemesio Seme in the 32 minute of the game. Nicolas Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Alonzo Ponce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Fe was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Nemesio Jerico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Horacio Eleazar made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Alonzo Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rivadavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidio Fe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rivadavia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
