Inocencio Ermengol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Justo Matxin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Prata in the 25th minute of play forced Dado de baja's goalkeeper Inocencio Ermengol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Norberto Prata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Ermengol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The audience was convinced that Norberto Prata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inocencio Ermengol was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Emmanuel Canturri made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Eliseo Lawrence sent off a good shot on target. After 40 played minutes Dado de baja got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Gaspard. Norberto Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inocencio Ermengol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Prata in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Felippe Pitta replaced Raoul Böhm. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Naldo Valladares got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Henrique Borgess short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Inocencio Ermengol to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dado de baja's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdemar da Cunha was slow to take the kick. During this time Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Henrique Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Ermengol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdemar da Cunha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inocencio Ermengol came out and tried to block the shot, but Valdemar da Cunha slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 64th minute. Henrique Borges did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Inocencio Ermengol 67 minutes into the match. Henrique Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inocencio Ermengol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Rodriguinho Duarte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. After 81 minutes, Henrique Borges made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. Dado de baja's Inocencio Ermengol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrique Borges kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Inocencio Ermengol. That made the score 0-12 in the 84 minute of play. Inocencio Ermengol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Valdemar Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Henrique Borges got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ played a much better game than Dado de baja and deserved their victory. The Dado de baja players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
