But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nadir Yalazay couldn't finish the play. The MaKaRa SPOR fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when MaKaRa SPOR's Nadir Yalazay looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Bülent Akıncı in the 45th minute of play forced Avellaneda FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Gartzea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Avellaneda FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MaKaRa SPOR were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nadir Yalazay to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, MaKaRa SPOR's Nadir Yalazay made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Gartzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cabbar Oğuzbala could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Eduardo Gartzea made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Avellaneda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Şaş came free, but Eduardo Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Cabbar Oğuzbala made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Gartzea. Avellaneda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After some careless play in the Avellaneda FC defense, Nadir Yalazay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Gartzea. The Avellaneda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Gartzea should have stopped the shot. If Nadir Yalazay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nadir Yalazay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Eduardo Gartzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
