In the 15th minute, Baldomero Montes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Rene Eliazar put in a rough tackle. In the 18th match minute, ZAFIRO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Eliazar to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Perutxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xilo Huerga in the 23rd minute of the match. Celestino Perutxo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mariano Riofrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Casimiro Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blanco Abeitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Piearres in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind TITANS FC's goalkeeper Blanco Abeitia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ZAFIRO FC's Casimiro Piearres got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute Lopez Yugueros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Perutxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ismael Dantel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Lopez Yugueros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TITANS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lopez Yugueros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TITANS FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
