Aureliano Maore made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Pedro Paes sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th minute, Hamílton Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Aureliano Maore. Club Deportivo Español's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, Pedro Paes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aureliano Maore. The goal made the score 2-0. Club Deportivo Español's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Pedro Paes scored to the left of an out of position Aureliano Maore, making the score, 3-0. Pedro Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Aureliano Maore made a huge save. Aureliano Maore was a little too slow when Gildo Fantini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 4-0. Aureliano Maore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Fantini in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Aureliano Maore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildo Fantini. In the 35th minute, Hamílton Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Paess short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Aureliano Maore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Savier during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edelmiro Savier kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Hamílton Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Pedro Paes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aureliano Maore was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Hamílton Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Deportivo Español's attentive Norberto Raymundo managed to snatch the ball when Walery Kornasiewicz made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. After 60 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Savier. 62 minutes into the match, Pedro Paes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Maore. Club Deportivo Español's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Paes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 65 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paes came free, but Aureliano Maore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Paes in the 69th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Aureliano Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aureliano Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Maore came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Ismael Paraense. But to his dismay, Ismael Paraense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 81 played minutes Club Deportivo Español got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Tonete. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Paiva in the 86th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Aureliano Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walery Kornasiewicz took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Maore. Aureliano Maore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Aureliano Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Paiva in the 97th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Aureliano Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
