Kurt Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Ležák, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 15th minute of the match, Harry Mogren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kurt Andreasson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Rätan IF's Kurt Andreasson got control of the ball when Harry Mogren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Walroth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pål Holm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Rätan IF's goalkeeper Kurt Andreasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Mogren. Martin Walroth hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, San Fantastico 89ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Mogren to maneuver through the defense. Kåre Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, San Fantastico 89ers's Harry Mogren got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jason Ležák made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Torgny Frisck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kurt Andreasson. Rätan IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torgny Frisck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kurt Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Ležák in the 55th minute of the match. San Fantastico 89ers's Pål Holm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save San Fantastico 89ers from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Rätan IF booed when San Fantastico 89ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes San Fantastico 89ers got a freekick which was hit by Albert Lindberg. Kåre Sjögren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Pål Holm made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Rätan IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Ležák came free, but Kurt Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, San Fantastico 89ers's Jason Ležák made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kurt Andreasson was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Mogren in the 82nd minute of play forced Rätan IF's goalkeeper Kurt Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Karl-Ove Söderström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Axel Jonasson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pål Holm skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Mogren in the 87th minute of play forced Rätan IF's goalkeeper Kurt Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pål Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Sjögren in the 94th minute of play. San Fantastico 89ers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
