Fabinho de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Araçá F. C.'s Paulo José de Andrade got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nildo Brito got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fiori Nascimento. If Anacleto Rexino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabinho de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Araçá F. C.'s Murilo Albuquerque seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Murilo Albuquerque the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Araçá F. C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Murilo Albuquerque had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 22 minutes into the game, one of Araçá F. C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Araçá F. C.:s Fabinho de Queiroz showed great skill when he stopped Horacio Tirso:s penalty. Horacio Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fabinho de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Manfredo Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Celino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabinho de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Feliz in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Araçá F. C.'s Manfredo Pinheiro got a free kick in the 77th minute. Fabinho de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Feliz in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Casimiro Feliz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabinho de Queiroz. Araçá F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Feliz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. The supporters of Araçá F.
