After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Cristiano Garro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdieri's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Garro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Lynch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Virga City Vipers's Bernardo Lynch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Briançon in the 17th minute of play. Russell Massey hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Ferdinando Milani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Lynch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Briançon in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Anthony Briançon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Virga City Vipers's Bernardo Lynch. Bernardo Lynch was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Lynch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Di Santo in the 35th minute of the match. The Virga City Vipers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Lynch should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Lynch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Briançon, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After 49 minutes Virga City Vipers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emilio Luciano who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Emilio Luciano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Virga City Vipers's Bernardo Lynch did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kareem Richter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Lynch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Andreola, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Anfilogino Di Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Lynch having to interfere. Anfilogino Di Santo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardo Lynch came out and tried to block the shot, but Anfilogino Di Santo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 61st minute. After 64 minutes, Lamar Anderson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virga City Vipers and the Valdieri players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virga City Vipers's Bernardo Lynch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Garro in the 66th minute of play. Bernardo Lynch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthony Briançon in the 70th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthony Briançon got free with Bernardo Lynch in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristiano Garro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Virga City Vipers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Valdieri were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
