To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the game, LOI's Sulo Montaña nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giotis Tripotseris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 22nd match minute, LOI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fetih Avcu to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Özbay got free with Giotis Tripotseris in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Özgür Özbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Giotis Tripotseris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to LOI getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Atak Koral hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Vedillo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Buturugã prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the RED KHAGAN defense, Sulo Montaña kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giotis Tripotseris. The RED KHAGAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giotis Tripotseris should have stopped the shot. Sulo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Buturugã made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 61 minutes into the match, RED KHAGAN's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Hamdi Ortan came free, but Giotis Tripotseris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Hamdi Ortan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Giotis Tripotseris quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Adil Ergümen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but George Buturugã firmly grabbed it by the left post. Giotis Tripotseris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Segio in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Adil Ergümen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RED KHAGAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adil Ergümen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
