Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Nuñez in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lisandro Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Čech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Lisandro Nuñez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Čech having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Inácio Romero took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dario Astigar to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd minute Lisandro Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Čech was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cambotinha EC's Peter Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 28th minute of play. SAN LORENZO FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Cambotinha EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmondo Di Renzo took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Ernie Siegel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The SAN LORENZO FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 37 minutes into the match, Lisandro Nuñez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Čech. Cambotinha EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Nuñez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Peter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Nuñez in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lisandro Nuñez in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half SAN LORENZO FC were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Nuñez to strike the kick off in the second half. Lisandro Nuñezs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Peter Čech to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in SAN LORENZO FC's zone, Inácio Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Astigar came out of the goal and Inácio Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The long shot by Lv Tian Yuan in the 65th minute really tested Peter Čech's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 68th minute, Lisandro Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Marcelino Damario recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Čech. Marcelino Damario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Ramiro Brasil's late challenge caught a SAN LORENZO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Brasil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Brasil to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien Corbeau to maneuver through the defense. SAN LORENZO FC's Isaias Rosario was substituted for Ernie Siegel. The supporters of Cambotinha EC booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julien Corbeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Falcão Novaes with André Reis as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a little luck, Cambotinha EC's Peter Čech got control of the ball when Marcelino Damario tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Damario got free with Peter Čech in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Damario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Peter Čech when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Cambotinha EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SAN LORENZO FC's performance. The match ended with a win for SAN LORENZO FC.
