The supporters of Hazelwood AFC booed when AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dwight Jeffress didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rachid Mouzaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cod Rutledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rachid Mouzaoui didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cod Rutledge went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 17 minutes, Mimoun Ouid Lacarne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hazelwood AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mimoun Ouid Lacarne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rachid Mouzaoui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cod Rutledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Aaron Aylwin could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Rachid Mouzaoui however easily saved by the left post. AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's Dwight Jeffress got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Dwight Jeffress off the ground. In the 27th minute, one of AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB. With a little luck, Hazelwood AFC's Rachid Mouzaoui got control of the ball when Aron Serena tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th minute Mimoun Ouid Lacarne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Paddle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mimoun Ouid Lacarne took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Paddle. Peter Paddle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Aron Serena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Meziane Moussa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Rachid Mouzaoui was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Aron Serena capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aron Serena really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for François Hamrouche to strike the kick off in the second half. Rachid Mouzaoui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stiff Lucas in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hazelwood AFC's Mohamed Hanister got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Hazelwood AFC defense, Corder Kiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rachid Mouzaoui. The Hazelwood AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rachid Mouzaoui should have stopped the shot. Aaron Aylwin took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rachid Mouzaoui. Rachid Mouzaoui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. In the 69th minute, Stiff Lucas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by François Hamrouche got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 74th minute, Aron Serena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mimoun Ouid Lacarne in the 77th minute of play forced AUSTRAL BOWLING CLUB's goalkeeper Peter Paddle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hazelwood AFC's Rachid Mouzaoui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Aylwin in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Hazelwood AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Aylwin came free, but Rachid Mouzaoui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Serena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rachid Mouzaoui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Aylwin in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rachid Mouzaoui prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
