The audience thought a goal was coming when Sherlock Holmes got free with Júlio Porto in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sherlock Holmes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Júlio Porto came out and tried to block the shot, but Sherlock Holmes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Sherlock Holmes in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Júlio Porto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 9 minutes, Sherlock Holmes made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maverick Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
