After 4 played minutes Real Soccer FC got a freekick which was hit by Robinho Pitta. Jean Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Real Soccer FC's goalkeeper Ulisses Nunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiãozinho Machado. Samuca Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ulisses Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gracie Barra's Tiãozinho Machado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulisses Nunes. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Gracie Barra's Jano Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastião Vinhas in the 17th minute of play. Celso Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jano Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Vinhas in the 27th minute of the match. Real Soccer FC's Ulisses Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Real Soccer FC from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Celso Soeiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ulisses Nunes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gracie Barra's Enio do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tales Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ulisses Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses Nunes made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Tiãozinho Machado sent off a good shot on target. Samuca Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastião Vinhas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jefferson Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Rosado in the 61st minute of play forced Real Soccer FC's goalkeeper Ulisses Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jano Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duda Valladares went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 69thth minute of the game Samuca Rosado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Soccer FC's Ulisses Nunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tales Machado in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulisses Nunes saved Real Soccer FC from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Samuca Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulisses Nunes. Real Soccer FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuca Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Tiãozinho Machado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulisses Nunes having to make a save. Jefferson Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Nunes having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Tiãozinho Machado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Duda Valladares fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Soccer FC's protests and gave Duda Valladares a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robinho Pitta got free with Jano Mazza in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Real Soccer FC defense, Enio do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulisses Nunes. The Real Soccer FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulisses Nunes should have stopped the shot. Real Soccer FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
