Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atilano Rojas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Joel Caton made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Hipolito Fritz sent off a good shot on target. Quintín Aranda's late challenge caught a Loja S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quintín Aranda helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Loja S.C. booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintín Aranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Marta Calderon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Magallanes's Hipolito Fritz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joel Caton. Joel Caton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th minute Fabian Sala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Camara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Fritz in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Fabricio Vedeja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loja S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Vedeja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintén Darrigrande to maneuver through the defense. Isidro Camara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Vedeja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Fritz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Joel Caton made a huge save. Magallanes were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Loja S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladimiro Leroy took the corner. 25 minutes into the game, Fabricio Vedeja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loja S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magallanes the free kick. After 25 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Vedeja. Isidro Camara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Vedeja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Sala hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Remigio Jungejohan scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Caton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magallanes made a substitution. Godofredo Pirazzoli replaced Hipolito Fritz. In the 36th minute Fabricio Vedeja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Camara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Magallanes's Remigio Jungejohan in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Loja S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Joel Caton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godofredo Pirazzoli in the 43rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Rose Encina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joel Caton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Vedeja in the 47th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Isidro Camara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Godofredo Pirazzoli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Caton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Joel Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Pirazzoli in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Godofredo Pirazzoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 57th match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Aumada to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Magallanes's Godofredo Pirazzoli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Caton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Pirazzoli in the 68th minute of play. Magallanes's Isidro Camara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Rojas in the 69th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Atilano Rojas lined in a short shot 5-1 behind a frustrated Isidro Camara. In the 78th minute, Godofredo Pirazzoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Magallanes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Marta Calderon hit a great ball. After 86th play minutes Atilano Rojas shot 6-3, a short shot which went by Isidro Camara and just under the crossbar into goal. Hidalgo Gallegos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidro Camara came out and tried to block the shot, but Hidalgo Gallegos slotted it home off the left post making it 6-4 in the 91st minute. The Magallanes players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
