In the 9th minute Carlos Engels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pereiras FC's Valdir Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Pereiras FC from getting a goal against them. Pereiras FC's Marcelo Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tostão Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho Carneiro in the 22nd minute of the match. Tostão Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Pereiras FC were awarded a corner. Ivo Macedo went to the cornerflag to take it. If Nelsinho Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tostão Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Valdir Dracena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davi Campidelis went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 36 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goalkeeper Valdir Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davi Campidelis. Pereiras FC were furious when Valdemar Bueno was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Pereiras FC:s Valdir Dracena showed great skill when he stopped Fellipe dos Santos:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Pereiras FC's Rafael Chaves got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Montesclarense E.C.'s Davi Campidelis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Pereiras FC's Valdir Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Hoffmann in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Pedrão Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Davi Campidelis made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Davi Campidelis made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdir Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Hoffmann came free, but Valdir Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Davi Campidelis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 62nd match minute, Pereiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Engels to maneuver through the defense. Davi Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Francisco Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Marcelo Batista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Velasco during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pereiras FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Claudinei Velasco hit a great ball. Pereiras FC's Valdir Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Campidelis in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Pereiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Hoffmann came free, but Valdir Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Ricardo Lucas got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Davi Campidelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdir Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Montesclarense E.C. had won after a very even match.
