Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giuseppe Jewell in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Fondos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Bento Peñarroja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phelipe Ruifrancos hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The Swift GTi FDC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Swift GTi FDC's John Estefania looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Byron Kane charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Byron Kane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Byron Kane. Daniel Fondos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Jewell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Swift GTi FDC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kris Marks took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Kris Marks got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Fondos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Fondos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrick Orlinsky, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Swift GTi FDC booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Coulter didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Estefania received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Desmond Rowell came out and tried to block the shot, but John Estefania slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. The audience was convinced that Beltran Garzon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desmond Rowell was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and John Estefania made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Swift GTi FDC's Fidensio Contreras got a free kick in the 50th minute. John Estefania struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Desmond Rowell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swift GTi FDC. Rodrick Orlinsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Daniel Fondos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Swift GTi FDC's Daniel Fondos got control of the ball when Rodrick Orlinsky tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Swift GTi FDC booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Homer Diggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, John Estefania got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Beltran Garzon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swift GTi FDC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beltran Garzon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desmond Rowell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Fondos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giuseppe Jewell's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Swift GTi FDC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The score was 2-1 after a penalty in the 82nd minute, where Santos FC:s Kris Marks tricked Swift GTi FDC:s Daniel Fondos with a difficult ball by the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Kris Marks could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Daniel Fondos however easily saved by the left post. Phelipe Ruifrancos's late challenge caught a Santos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phelipe Ruifrancos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Swift GTi FDC's Phelipe Ruifrancos got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 94 played minutes Swift GTi FDC got a freekick which was hit by Gaizka Sesma. 96 minutes into the match, Swift GTi FDC's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Marks came free, but Daniel Fondos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Swift GTi FDC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
