In the 36th minute, José Vítor de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes of play, E.C. Galera's Evandro Loyola made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinei Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Alvinegro de Tupã's goal looked a bit too open when André Maranhense came free, but Dinei Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, André Maranhense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Dinei Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice moves Evandro Loyola could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Dinei Moraes however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Loyola got free with Dinei Moraes in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinei Moraes made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Silvério Munhoz sent off a good shot on target. Dinei Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Azevedo in the 95th minute of the match.
