Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuel Braga started the match with the kick off. Júnior de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júnior de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Botelho in the 4th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper José Vítor Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Batista was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Prudente's Zé Batista got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Belmiro Pombal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Vítor Ramos. Grêmio Prudente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belmiro Pombal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Vicente Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Braga's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Donato de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Vicente Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Grêmio Prudente got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Linares. In the last second José Vítor Ramos throw himself and got hold of the ball when Belmiro Pombal in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Miguel Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but José Vítor Ramos made a huge save. After having played for 30 minutes, Miguel Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Pires came free, but José Vítor Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Donato de Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio Prudente's protests and gave Donato de Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Grêmio Prudente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Geovanni Paraibano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Raí Vargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio Prudente the free kick. A collision led to TRICOSHOW F.CLUB getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Raí Vargas hit a great ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Vicente Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute Samuel Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Emerson Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes TRICOSHOW F.CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Francisco de Carvalho. Samuel Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Lara having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Belmiro Pombal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Vítor Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 71 minutes of play, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Belmiro Pombal made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Pires in the 74th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper José Vítor Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior de Salles in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Emerson Viana got a free kick in the 86th minute. Vicente Lara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel Braga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 93 minute of play. Grêmio Prudente's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
