Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dênis de Almeida took the kick off in the first half of the match. Felippe Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute of the match Geovânio Lara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy Arce skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Sampaio in the 7th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Clóvis Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Goblins F.C.'s Clóvis Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Goblins F.C. from getting a goal against them. Geovânio Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovânio Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geovânio Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Clóvis Sergipano made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Chicão de Brito sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Mundial EC's Chicão de Brito got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 26 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Mendes. Ruy Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Mendes to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Leonardo Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 played minutes, Goblins F.C.'s Marquinhos de Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruy Arce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goblins F.C. reached it. When Geovânio Lara came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Goblins F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovânio Lara couldn't finish the play. Ruy Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Goblins F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Geovânio Lara in the 43rd minute. After taking down the ball on Goblins F.C.'s corner Walmyr Prestes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruy Arce quite easily take care of the ball. In the 44th minute, Anselmo Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute of the match Geovânio Lara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruy Arce showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Sampaio was the one to do the kick off. When Zeca Carneiro fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goblins F.C.'s protests and gave Zeca Carneiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Carneiro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dênis de Almeida got free with Ruy Arce in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mauro Senna fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mundial EC's protests and gave Mauro Senna a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Mundial EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mundial EC's zone, Dênis de Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Arce came out of the goal and Dênis de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Mundial EC's Ruy Arce got control of the ball when Dênis de Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Prestes. Goblins F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
